Danhausen’s WrestleMania debut involved John Cena and a Mini-hausen DOG PILE - Cageside Seats

Tonight’s Night Two of WrestleMania 42 has picked up from Night One, but it still hadn’t delivered one of the most anticipated segments of the weekend in Las Vegas… Danhausen’s WrestleMania-hausen debut!
He got a blimp (two actually, but one has an unfortunate backstory), but we hadn’t seen the Very Nice, Very Evil One… until after host John Cena announced that Sun., April 19’s attendance was 55,255, beating Saturday’s to put the total for both of WWE’s nights in Allegiant Stadium at 106,072. Per WWE, anyway.
That brought out The Miz with his latest young protege, Kit Wilson. Miz demanded a WrestleMania moment from the man he’s had a few with over the years, and Cena gave him a microphone. Miz and Wilson are both cursed as part of their current program-hausen, so that led to the moment we’d been waiting for.
It started strong, with a choreographed group of mini-hausens that Michael Cole informed us requested to be called midgets. Full-size Danhausen arrived in a coffin-mobile, pausing to soak in Las Vegas’ reaction, which wasn’t Oba-like, but definitely better than what that he got for his Elimination Chamber debut in Chicago. He led a charge of his tiny army to the ring where they got a more noticeable roar from the house once on the mic, where he welcomed us to WRESTLEMANIA-HAUSEN.
Miz snaps, berating the minis as Wizard of the Oz cast-offs. Kit declares them toxic — probably for the midget thing — and shoves them down (Danhausen’s got funny names for each person, but I don’t know if they’re his invention or the performers’ own). His celebration dance doesn’t last long, because Danhausen orders a DOG PILE!
From there, the fun was on. We didn’t get the full CENA-HAUSEN team-up I was hoping for, but we did get a Five Knuckle Curse-hausen on Miz. Then after another moment with the Never Seen 17, Danhausen hit Cena with the You Can’t See Me… but without backstage camera tricks, we got more evidence that if Danhausen actually has supernatural powers, he doesn’t know it.
