One of the insults CM Punk used against Roman Reigns was the fact that he’s a part-time star. This has been true for some time, and even when he was champion for all those years he wasn’t running at a full time pace. But he’s going to be “fixing all that crap” now that he’s world heavyweight champion following the main event of WrestleMania 42.

When asked by Corey Graves on the WrestleMania 42 post show where he’s going to take us next, The Tribal Chief had this to say:

“I’m gonna take y’all to Monday Night Raw tomorrow night. I’ll see y’all tomorrow night, that’s where we’ll see y’all, all right? All this part time crap? We’re gonna fix that. Y’all better make some room because y’all gonna see my ass all summer.”

Reigns defeated Punk in the final match of the weekend at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, in what was clearly the best bout spanning both nights. The story they told was that Punk, who is indeed old, didn’t have the gas tank to keep up with Reigns, who still has that reserve he can tap into when needed. We’ll have to see who steps up now that Punk is out of the picture, but there’s already at least one name gearing up to take a run at Roman.

This summer should be fun.
